The Media Rating Council was created to audit and accredit audience rating services in an effort to improve the quality of audience measurement and to help ensure accuracy and transparency. More than 115 companies, such as Time Warner, MSNBC and New York Times, are MRC members, representing a broad spectrum of the media industry, from radio and broadcast to print and online publishers. Publishers who are Universal Ad Package compliant self attest that they provide advertisers with at least one of the four ad UAP sizes (728×90, 300×250, 160×600 and 180×150) and that by using these sizes along, advertisers have the ability to reach the majority of that publisher’s audience.
